The Opportunity
We have a unique, exciting opportunity for a Site General Manager to lead our Enfield Production facility and shape the
future of our site. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the role provides leadership across the whole site and
will ensure the supply of products of consistently good quality at the right service level through the most cost-effective
manufacturing operations, whilst maintaining a safe and engaging work environment and managing risk. Each year
c.45,000 tonnes of branded cooking oil and spices are packed in our high-volume oil drum making/filling operation and
our modern high speed spices packing facility. There are 50 full time employees on site providing self-sufficient capability
across inbound logistics, operations, planning, technical, engineering and finance.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate food industry experience, a track record of operations leadership and
delivering actions to create a sustainable competitive advantage. We are looking for someone with the ability to work
collaboratively with other business functions and an inclusive and engaging leadership style which values and maximises
the contribution of all members of a diverse team. The right candidate needs to be capable and confident to work both
at a senior leadership level and when required, to do the detail to support the team to deliver, whilst being a role model
of the Westmill leadership behaviours and values.
