Westmill is a specialist food supplier whose market leading brands include Elephant Atta, Amoy, Asli Atta, Lucky Boat, Patak’s, Pride, Rajah and Tolly Boy. Found in the best professional and home kitchens, our brands are respected for their quality and authenticity and our vision is to inspire our communities with colourful food, through working with our trade partners in the ethnic and grocery channels.
Today our products are sold across the vast majority of Restaurant and Takeaways in the UK, enabling us to successfully deliver 5 consecutive years of profitable growth.
Working for Westmill means you belong to an entrepreneurial and culturally diverse business that values high performance, collaboration and the desire to make a difference.
You will work closely with the Sales Team visiting Chinese Restaurants and Takeaways on planned call cycles. It will be your mission to understand their needs with the aim of communicating and selling the features and benefits of Westmill Brands in order to influence their trial and continued usage across your customer portfolio. Implementing solutions which grow our outlet sales and improving routes to market will be a key requirement of this role.
What we are looking for:
To succeed in this role you have at least 1 year’s proven sales experience within the FMCG or Ethnic Sales sector as well as excellent communication skills and a keen selling instinct. With great analytical and planning capability, you will have the ability to build winning relationships across your customer base and a track record of “making things happen” in your career to date. A clean full UK driving license is a key requirement.
What’s in it for you:
In addition to a competitive remuneration and benefits package, we can offer you an exciting and challenging role in a great business, with plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and your career in the UK or internationally either within Westmill or Associated British Foods, our parent company.
Westmill is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive working environment – a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit.
