There is now an exciting opportunity to join the Technical team as a Quality Assurance Technician based in Enfield, on a 6 month fixed term basis. Your role will be to ensure the Quality, Safety and Legality of products produced meets all technical and site objectives through the application of the Quality Systems and activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to progress to the next stage in their career with ongoing support and training available.

What the role entails:

Actively participating in external and internal audits, including BRC, CCP, GMP, Hygiene etc., as well as being responsible for carrying out all quality checks and maintaining high production standards e.g. CCP monitoring, record keeping, filing, archiving, product testing, etc.

You will also be assisting the Technical Department with all day to day activities and assisting Quality and Hygiene Coordinator with technical issue resolution and continuous development of food safety and quality.

What we are looking for:

You will have at least 1 years’ experience within the Food sector, and experience with Auditing, HACCP, GMP and Weight legislations. Candidates should be computer literate with strong problem solving skills, be an effective communicator at all levels and a flexible approach to work and the ability to cope with a fast paced working environment is essential. Knowledge of Health and Safety in the Workplace is essential, and knowledge of oils/canning process is preferable.
