Westmill are currently undergoing one of their biggest capital expenditure programmes, to date. Part of this investment is to transfer our Rajah Spice packing operation from our Trafford site to Enfield, which entails both the installation of form, fill, seal and automated case packing equipment and the transfer of existing kit.

Joining our Production team at this time means you will learn about the manufacturing/packing aspects within the existing edible oils and coconut environment. You will also have the fantastic opportunity to be involved in this exciting site transformation and to input into building a safe, robust and efficient new department within the site.

You will be responsible for supporting the line technicians in the safe, effective and efficient running and operation of the production lines. This could involve decanting bulk Spices into production hoppers, palletising various sized cases of finished product or completing product changeover and cleaning tasks. Whilst maintaining health, safety, food safety and quality standards at all times. You will be working with the integration team of the new packing lines to create great ways of working in this new department. You will be expected to champion a zero accident culture and to drive Westmill key behaviours.

So who are we looking for?

You will have a demonstrable track record of working within a team and using your own initiative to drive performance and be reliable with a strong work ethic. You will also need to be flexible to complete various tasks on an ad hoc basis. Proactive thinking and a positive approach are also important attributes to be successful in this role.

A flexible approach to working a fixed shift pattern (6am-3pm or 3pm-11pm) is essential.
