There is a fantastic opportunity to join the engineering team at our Selby site as a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer. Working within an FMCG Environment and supporting our Rice production, the successful candidate will have passion for continuous improvement and will be self-motivated to resolve issues to root cause and implementing 100-year fixes.
What are we looking for:
The successful candidate will be part of a team that ensures compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements, delivering the World Class Engineering Strategy and delivering in PPM programme in line with Business Objectives.
You will need to have an appropriate engineering qualification combined with work experience in an FMCG environment in order to be successful in this role. Your confident and collaborative approach combined with a great work ethic and excellent communication skills will make you an asset to our organisation. You will be Multi skilled, have experience in fault finding on PLC’s, pneumatic and hydraulic experience. You will have the ability to work within a team and on your own initiative and be able to demonstrate consistent delivery to both internal and external customers.
This is a shift-based role best suited to a multiskilled engineer, working with a wide variety of high-speed packaging lines and milling equipment. Working hours are 40hrs a week on a varied three shift system comprising mainly 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm with flexibility to cover the other shifts or holiday when required.
