Westmill have just undergone one of their biggest capital expenditure programmes to date. Part of this investment was the transfer our Rajah Spice packing operation from our Trafford site to Enfield. Joining our Engineering team at this time means you will have the fantastic opportunity to support the maintenance and engineering aspects within the established edible oils and coconut manufacturing/packing environment. You will also be able to build on a safe, robust and efficient new spices department within the site.
In this role, you will be supporting the compliance of equipment and services with all statutory and mandatory requirements, whilst also supporting and proposing initiatives for Health & Safety, reliability and the Continuous Improvement. This role will involve the improvement of the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) targets and completion of preventive maintenance. Carrying out ad hoc maintenance tasks for equipment and services in the Head Office & Site infrastructure will also be required.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will need to have the ability to work within a team, show initiative and have a collaborative approach to work. You will also be an effective communicator with a strong work ethic and be able to demonstrate consistent delivery to both internal and external customers. Engineering qualifications/apprenticeships combined with work experiences in a Food, FMCG or Canning environment would be desired.
