What the role offers:
You will be working within a food manufacturing/packing environment where we pack/mill circa 45k tonnes of edible oils and coconut products per annum. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory and mandatory requirements. You will also be delivering overall equipment effectiveness, a Planned Preventative Measure (PPM) programme in line with business objectives and contributing towards achieving the Engineering Strategy.
What we are looking for:
To be successful, you must be a qualified Engineer and have experience working in a Canning, Food or FMCG environment in areas such as electrical/controls equipment, fault finding on Programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, palletising, filling, coding, conveying, labelling etc.
You will be required to maintain a close working relationship with the production teams and other relevant departments to drive our health and safety culture. Ability to work well within a team, show initiative and have a confident, collaborative approach to work will also be a strength of yours. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of consistent delivery to both internal and external customers will be key to be successful in your application for this role.
If successful, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and you will be part of a team of 4 that includes an Engineering Manager, 2 Engineering Coordinators and a Multi-Skilled Engineer.
