Working for Westmill means you belong to an entrepreneurial and culturally diverse business that values high performance, collaboration and the desire to make a difference.
Westmill is currently undergoing our biggest capital expenditure programme to date. Part of this investment has been to recently transfer our Rajah Spice packing operation from Trafford to Enfield, which involved the installation of new form, fill, seal and automated case packing equipment. So these are really exciting times at our Enfield site!
We now have a fantastic opportunity to join the Site Leadership Team as Manufacturing Manager. Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will have full ownership of the entire food manufacturing/packing operation, where we pack in the region of 45k tonnes of edible oils and coconut products per annum, in addition to the newly added Spice packing department.
You will be responsible for working with and through the front line management teams to deliver an efficient and robust operation that meets its budget targets and is continuously improving. Production of high quality products and meeting the customer service expectations will be a given. Leading the culture with high H&S standards and strong employee engagement is critical in getting to a world class level. This is a pivotal site leadership role and you will deputise for the Site General Manager as required.
So who are we looking for?
You will have good knowledge and experience within a food manufacturing environment with the ability to operate at a management level and lead change as required. Proactive thinking with excellent people and communication skills are equally important, as is experience of effectively managing budgets.
Westmill is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive working environment – a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit.
