We now have a fantastic opportunity to join the Westmill Finance team in the newly created role of Logistics & Procurement Finance Manager.
In this role you will provide effective business partnering support to both the Procurement and Logistics departments, proactively providing detailed interpretation and insightful analysis of performance, together with advice, support and constructive challenge to optimise cost and drive business results.
You will also be responsible for managing the budgeting, planning and forecasting process for both functions. This will include setting material standards, tracking and reporting performance both against standard and cost saving initiatives, investigating discrepancies and making recommendations for improvement where appropriate. Challenging assumptions and ways of working using insights gathered from both within Westmill and other ABF businesses is also a key aspect of this role.
So who are we looking for?
You will be a qualified accountant, with a proven track record of delivering process improvements. You will have strong analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail, really effective communication skills and an ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience of working in an FMCG environment, supplemented with an understanding of Logistics and Procurement functions would also be advantageous.
