Westmill is a specialist food supplier whose market leading brands include Elephant Atta, Amoy, Asli Atta, Lucky Boat, Patak’s, Pride, Rajah and Tolly Boy. Found in the best professional and home kitchens, our brands are respected for their quality and authenticity. Our vision is to be the market leader in every kitchen for trusted, authentic global foods, through working with our trade partners which include wholesale as well as cash and carry, food service, grocery and B2B channels. Westmill is a friendly, culturally and ethnically diverse environment, with a unique family feeling where no one feels like the new person for long and everybody has the chance to make a real difference to the business.

What does the role offer:

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the procurement of our complex ingredients portfolio and will be the main point of contact for Product Development and Innovation projects. You will be responsible for managing the selection of new suppliers, negotiating and executing agreements for the purchasing of all Ingredients and NPD products as well as monitoring on-going service levels of the supplier base, SLA’s and other performance criteria. You will be responsible for optimising the value for Westmill in your area of responsibility, whilst also developing our supply chains to meet ABF’s leading Sustainability and Technical compliance requirements.

Location – Enfield, Trafford or Selby with flexibility to travel within UK and Europe as required.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for someone with plenty of energy and drive, and the aptitude to work in a fast moving and dynamic team that is focused on delivering results. You will ideally have experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain role, but this is not essential so long as you can learn quickly, have a can-do attitude and have a hunger to develop your career. You will need to have proven analytical, report writing & communication skills (verbal & written).

What’s in it for you:

In addition to a competitive remuneration and benefits package, working at Westmill offers a great opportunity to gain fantastic experience and ultimately grow your career, in the UK or internationally either within Westmill or Associated British Foods, our parent company.

Westmill is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive working environment – a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit.
