What the role offers:
As an important member of our B2B team, you will manage a range of food manufacturers and discounters throughout the UK. You will be responsible for delivering tough volume and margin targets and will be planning and executing new business plans. Your role is to build strong influence with your customers in order to launch new products, drive NPD and ongoing growth, whilst ensuring fantastic service. You will work in collaboration with the B2B Customer Controller and other Customer Managers to drive overall sales within the team.
What we are looking for:
To succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate strong and creative solution based selling skills. Candidates will ideally have minimum 2 years proven sales experience within the FMCG sector as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. Alongside your ability to match strong influence with robust planning, you will be able to demonstrate past examples of winning relationships built across your customer base and a track record of “making things happen” in your career to date. A clean full UK driving license is a key requirement.
If successful, you will report directly to the B2B Customer Controller and be part of a team of 4, that includes the Customer Controller & 3 Customer Managers. The B2B unit is an active part of the wider Mainstream sales team where there is further interaction with Grocery Customer Managers and the Mainstream Head of Sales.
