What does the role offer:
As an important member of our team in the region of London and the South East, you will manage a range of direct and indirect customers. The primary focus is on creating demand with chefs for our products in Chinese restaurants and takeaways, but you will also be responsible for delivering volume through your direct customers. Your role is to build strong influence with your chefs and customers to drive listings of new products and to build and implement plans to improve ranging of existing brands. You will work in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and other Territory Managers to drive overall sales in this channel.
What we are looking for:
To succeed in this role, you must be of graduate calibre and be able to demonstrate a strong selling instinct. Candidates will have at least 1 year’s proven sales experience within the FMCG or Chinese Foods sector as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. It is required that your background is in this market, with experience of influencing chefs. Matching strong influencing skills with robust planning, you will have the ability to build winning relationships across your customer base and a track record of “making things happen” in your career to date. A clean full UK driving license is a key requirement. Fluency in Cantonese and working knowledge in Mandarin would also be an essential requirement for the role.
